Sunplus mMobile Inc., the former Department of Personal Entertainment BU and Advanced BU of Sunplus Technology, was spun-off on 1st Dec. 2006 in Hsinchu Science Park. Sunplus mMobile is 100% held by Sunplus with capital NT$1,220 million.

Sunplus mMedia Inc., the former Multimedia Center of Sunplus mMobile, was spun-off on 1st, April, 2007 in Hsinchu Science Park. Sunplus mMedia is 100% held by Sunplus mMobile with capital NT$1,000 million.

Sunplus mMobile and Sunplus mMedia are engaged in the research, design, development and sales of integrated circuit (ICs). Sunplus mMobile focuses on developing advanced communication ICs and Sunplus mMedia focuses on developing multimedia ICs. Both we are dedicated to commercialize the multimedia and communication technology to create a comfortable, convenient and colorful digital life for everyone.

Products and Technology
Before the spin-off, our R&D team has devoted lots of resources to the research of multimedia field for many years, and established a unique position in the market worldwide. After the spin-off, we keep investing in R&D and became more aggressive in the development of products including DSC IC, PMP IC, MP3 IC, Game Platform, Multimedia Handset IC, ASICs and 3G IC. By sharing resources with the parent company, Sunplus Technology, and our non-stop progress in R&D, we have faith in providing total solutions of the highest quality for our customers.

Manufacturing
To emphasize professionalism, Sunplus mMobile and Sunplus mMedia subcontract out wafer manufacturing, die sawing, IC packaging & testing. We also build up "wafer bank" strategy with our foundries to reduce wafer lead-time and to adopt a low volume/diversity approach to orders. Sunplus mMobile and Sunplus mMedia have been leveraging Sunplus group's economic scale for outsourcing to produce quality and cost-effective products.

Marketing
Marketing strategy at Sunplus mMobile and Sunplus mMedia satisfies customers' needs by providing a fully product line. We develop our customer relationships worldwide through distributors and representatives. By integrating outside resources we can successfully extend our market share and we can provide the best support and service for our customers.
