SPG220

SPG220A, a single-chip contains multi-processors, includes ?’nSP? (a 16-bit CPU developed by SUNPLUS Technology), Picture Processing Unit (PPU), Sound Processing Unit (SPU) and other primary functions for video game applications. The SPG220A is able to generate graphics and sound for the television system (NTSC or PAL). The operating voltage range is 2.7V through 3.6V and CPU speed is 27MHz. Plus, it offers 37 programmable I/O, two 16-bit timer/counters, 32768Hz Real Time Clock, built-in voltage regulator, Low Voltage Detect, Low Voltage Reset, 12-bit ADC, UART interface, SPI interface, SIO interface, I2C master interface and many other features that facilitate connecting with varieties of I/O devices such as TFT LCD, STN LCD, CMOS image sensor, TV decoder, Light Pen, Touch panel…etc.
